Arrests made in gas station shooting, suspected gang members involved

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Four people in connection to a murder incident at Murphy Oil gas station have been arrested and charged.

The incident happened on Jan. 23.

According to a news release, 32-year-old Monnie Joseph Brabham was killed by three alleged gang members while pumping gas on Booth Road in Warner Robins. After the shooting, the members stole Brabham’s silver 1996 Cadillac, which police later found in a nearby residential neighborhood.

Earlier this month, detectives sent out individual arrest warrants for conspiracy to commit murder and participation in criminal street gang activity.

On June 27, 17-year-old Ameshia Chartis Cosby and 19-year-old Deondray Yarn were arrested in Atlanta on Fraser Street in Atlanta. Both teens are being held in the Houston County Detention Center without bond.

Clifton James Roberts, 29, and Michael Montreal Gooden, 22, are being held at another facility for an unrelated crime, which the Federal Bureau of Investigation is handling.

Gooden’s charges are for murder and participation in criminal street gang activity.

Deputies say all four gang members, and Atlanta residents are affliated with the street gang One Trey Eight.
