MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - The FPD girl's basketball team picked up its first win of the season Tuesday night against Houston County.

Points were hard to come by late in the game for both Houston County (1-5) and FPD, but the Vikings' Sydney Reese hit two free throws to break a 30-30 tie late in the game, and FPD (1-2) held on to win 34-30.

Rutland Girls vs. Mary Persons
The Lady Canes and Lady Bulldogs were both undefeated going into Tuesday night's contest at Mary Persons.

Rutland led by as much as 16-4 in the first half, but Mary Persons stormed back, helped mostly by KeKe Calloway's 29 points.  The Lady Bulldogs won 60-55.

FPD Boys vs. Houston County
Throughout Tuesday's nightcapper at FPD, neither the Bears or Vikings could really gain a clear edge on the other.
