3 month investigation leads to largest Jones County meth bust

A 3 month investigation lead to the arrest off 27-year-old Marcos David Palacios of Lilburn, Georgia on trafficking methamphetamine charges.

GRAY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - A three month investigation lead to he biggest methamphetamine bust in Jones County.

The Jones County Sheriff's Office Narcotic unit arrested and charged 27-year-old Marcos David Palacios of Lilburn, Georgia.

According to a news release investigators believe Palacios made numerous trips multiple trips to the Middle Georgia area delivering drugs.

Palacios was found with one kilogram of meth with a street value of $36,000.

The Jones County Sheriff's office received  assistance from the Bibb County Sheriff Office, Department of Corrections Probation, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the U.S Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
