AUGUSTA, Ga. (GCSU RELEASE) – Two Georgia College women's basketball players were named to the (PBC) All-Peach Belt Conference Team Tuesday. Juniors Enisha Donley (Loganville, Ga.) and Shanteona Keys (Roswell, Ga.) were both named to the All-PBC Second Team.
Donley ranks in the PBC top-10 in four categories, while Keys finished in three.
Donley ranked No. 5 in points-per-game at 16.3, points with 408, field goals with 169 and field-goal percentage at .533. Keys was tied-seventh in points with 393, eighth in points-per-game at 15.1 and ninth in field goals with 146.
This the first time Donley has been selected to the all-conference team, while Keys has now been named to the All-PBC Team for the third consecutive year. Keys repeats from last season as a Second Team selection, while making the Third Team and PBC Freshman of the Year her freshman season in 2011-12.
All-time, GC women's basketball has put 35 players on the All-PBC Teams. After this season, Keys has become the first three-time honoree in school history.
The pair has helped the Bobcats to their first PBC Tournament appearance since 2011. Georgia College takes on Armstrong Atlantic State University Thursday, March 6 in Columbus, Ohio. The West Division fourth-seeded Bobcats came within three points in the final 30 seconds last weekend to the East Division's first-seeded Pirates in both team's season finales.
