ATLANTA - The Atlanta Hawks will play at New Jersey on Dec. 27 to open their lockout-shortened season.
The 66-game, 2011-12 schedule announced on Tuesday by the NBA also includes the Hawks' home opener on Dec. 28 against Washington.
The Hawks will play back-to-back road games at Miami on Jan. 2 and at Chicago on Jan. 3 and then will play the Heat in Atlanta on Jan 5, followed by a home game against the Bulls on Jan. 7.
The early schedule also includes a Jan. 6 game at Charlotte. The Hawks announced they have eliminated all ticketing fees for home games this season.
