JEFFERSON, GA - The Racing Radios 100 is finally here and Super Late Model drivers are more than ready to hit the track at Gresham Motorsports Park.
Fans will have the opportunity to watch some of their favorite drivers compete for the Super Late Model win. Bubba Pollard, Ben Kennedy, Chase Elliott, Donnie Wilson Gus Dean and T.J. Reaid are among the many names that will make the 100-lap venture to the checkered flag.
"I am really excited for the Racing Radios 100," said Kennedy, driver of the No. 96 Slack Auto Parts 150 Chevrolet. "We will be running with the Bill Elliott Motorsports team and I think we will have a great car at GMP. The Racing Radios 100 will also be good practice for me before running at GMP in the NASCAR K&N East race on June 9th. I think we will have a great car for the event and I am excited to get back to some racing again!"
Drivers who ran in the April 7th Beau Slocumb Memorial Presented by US Auto Sales, already have some practice under their belt for the Racing Radios 100 and since there will not be an open practice on Friday night before the race, that could be an advantage for them.
"We have enjoyed racing at Gresham Motorsports Park for the last year and we have had some good runs", said Dean, driver of the No. 56 Modoc Research Chevrolet. "After our finish in the Beau Slocumb Memorial, we feel that we have made great gains on the car and we are looking forward to the Racing Radios 100.
The Racing Radios 100 will be this Saturday, May 12th. Ticket gates will open at 2pm, an autograph session will follow qualifying at 6:30pm and opening ceremonies will begin at 7:30pm.
