MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Westside's Isaiah Booker signed to play for Valdosta State today. "I'm gonna keep a level head. I ain't gonna do anything stupid. I'm gonna remember everything they taught me," said Booker after the ceremonial signing.
Head Coach Sheddrick Risper says Booker will be a great asset as a lineman there. Risper told 41NBC, "we expect for Isaiah to go in and be an immediate contributor. He has great ability--he's a tough kid, and he has a great passion for the game."
Booker's parents say he excelled on the field as a left tackle, and they're excited to see him perform off the field, and further his education at Valdosta State.
