ATLANTA - Chipper Jones and Jason Heyward are back in the Atlanta Braves lineup against Houston after dealing with injuries.
Jones says his right knee is feeling much better after he had an injection to deal with the pain from a small meniscus tear.
He's missed Atlanta's last two games, but went through batting practice before Tuesday's game and decided to return to the lineup.
Surgery was a possibility if Jones didn't show improvement.
Heyward will be starting for the first time in seven games after resting his ailing right shoulder. He's been in pain since spring training and things got worse last week. He underwent an MRI, which found inflammation but no major problems.
