MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (GCSU ATHLETICS) – The Georgia College baseball program and head coach Tom Carty are set for a busy weekend honoring Bobcat and Colonial baseball alumni Saturday, April 23 at 1 p.m.

GC baseball will host its annual Alumni Weekend, as all Bobcat and Colonial baseball alumni are welcome to join a cookout in the pavilion behind the field between games. Georgia College will honor the 2003 Bobcat baseball squad for its 10th anniversary, as fourth-round MLB draft pick Brandon Durden will throw a ceremonial first pitch.

Family, friends, and members of the community are encouraged to cheer on the Bobcats as they take on Augusta State University in doubleheader action to start a three-game Peach Belt Conference (PBC) set.

The event is free and open to the public.
