GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) - The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is planning a hearing Monday in Gainesville, Ga., concerning the federal health care law.
The chairman, Republican Rep. Darrell Issa of California, says the hearing will examine the impact the law is having on families, small business owners and doctors in rural areas. Republican Rep. Doug Collins, who represents the Gainesville area, will host the hearing. Both Issa and Collins are critics of the law. The hearing will be at 10 a.m. at the County Government Center. Witnesses scheduled to testify include Dr. Jeff Reinhardt, who operates a clinic; small business owner Michael Boyette, and former pharmacy owner Joshua Kinsey.
