WOODSTOCK, Georgia (AP) - Administrators at a high school north of Atlanta say two ninth graders are charged with public indecency after an attempted sex act was recorded in the cafeteria.
Cherokee County schools spokeswoman Barbara Jacoby says a girl made a sexual offer to a boy in the Etowah High School cafeteria and another boy began recording it. Jacoby says the boy told administrators he thought the offer was a joke, and stopped the girl when she began acting upon it.
Students told sources two classmates recording the incident sent the video to friends, but Jacoby says there's no evidence that the video was distributed.
Jacoby says students blocked themselves from view and students who recorded some of the incident deleted it from their cellphones once they realized they could face charges.
