ATLANTA - (AP) - Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found dead in a car in northwest Atlanta.
Police told the Atlanta Constitution website the body was discovered after police received a call about a vehicle stopped in the road on Hood Avenue.
The man was in the driver's seat of a red Monte Carlo. Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones said he had been shot several times in the chest, Atlanta police spokeswoman Officer Kim Jones said.
The Monte Carlo had been reported as stolen out of DeKalb County, she said.
No other information was immediately available.
