2 Dead In Cobb County Crash
KENNESAW, Georgia (AP) - Police in metro Atlanta say two people have died after a crash on I-575 in Cobb County.
Police say a car heading northbound crossed the median north of Chastain Road and hit a small tanker truck Monday afternoon. The identities of the drivers have not yet been released.
Authorities say the crash happened around 2 p.m. and the southbound lanes of the highway were closed as officials investigated.
Georgia State Patrol and Cobb County Police remained on the scene Monday afternoon.
