Woman Struck, Killed By Car In Macon
MACON, Ga. (AP) - Police in Macon are investigating an accident that claimed the life of a 23-year-old woman.
Macon police said in a statement that Chastity Johnson was crossing Pio Nono Avenue early Sunday morning when she was struck by a tan 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe operated by a 22 year-old male.
Johnson was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia, where she died of her injuries.
