Georgia Man Sentenced In Double Murder
DALTON, Ga. (AP) - A northwest Georgia man has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in the deaths of his wife and her grandfather. Authorities say 49-year-old Adolph Neal entered the plea Tuesday in the Whitfield County Superior Court.
Officials say Neal set off a weeklong manhunt in May after 27-year-old Jessica Neal was stabbed to death and her 69-year-old grandfather, Don William Shedd, was beaten to death. Police said they learned of the deaths when Neal's 9-year-old daughter told a neighbor she found her grandfather dead and couldn't find her parents.
