GLENNVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Georgia authorities have canceled a child abduction alert after a missing 14-year-old girl from Glennville was located at a hotel in Norcross.

Authorities say the teen had left home with a 24-year-old man she had met on a social networking site. Norcross Police Sgt. Bill Grogan tells CBS Atlanta the girl called her parents on Monday morning saying she was ready to go home.

The Associated Press does not normally identify people who may be victims of sexual assault.

CBS Atlanta reports the man faces possible charges of interference with custody and statutory rape.
