Residents Of Condo Tower Fear Power Will Be Cut

DORAVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Residents in a high-rise condominium building in DeKalb County are facing the prospect of losing power over dispute about unpaid bills.

Georgia Power officials tell WSB-TV they plan to cut off electricity sometime Wednesday at the Presidential Boutique condos near Interstate 285.

Resident Lazar Gray said he hopes the bills get paid. He runs a music production company from one of the units. Without power, he says, equipment at FKI Productions is useless.

Other residents have begun moving out of the building in anticipation of the loss of power.
