Purple was the color of choice tonight at the Tattnall Square Academy girls' basketball game, in honor of one of their own, who has cystic fibrosis.
Students and supporters held a "Purple Out" after selling t-shirts supporting Haley's Hope relay and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Haley Gordon plays for the girl's Varsity and B-teams, and the school presented a check for $1,260 to support the cause.
"It's unbelievable the support from the Tattnall family," says Haley's father, Steven Gordon, "to just support you personally and your family--for your child--is just beyond words."
