Sunday alcohol sales officially kicked-in in Houston County this weekend. Some Warner Robins restaurants are reaping the benefits from the extra sales.
One establishment, W.O.W. Cafe, is just blocks away from Centerville restaurants that have already been able to sell on Sundays. Bar Manager, Joshua Janouski, says even after just one day, the new law is already proving to be a positive change for them.
"We had an increase in sales, but the same crowd during the day," says Janouski.
Janouski anticipates restaurants and bars like his that cater to a sports crowd on Sunday will continue to draw in a bigger crowd now that alcohol is allowed to be served. It's a perk, he says, that benefits his establishment, and the city of Warner Robins.
