The men of 41NBC have many talents and we're showing you another one of their skills. I took a camera behind the scenes of the guys' photo shoot for the Intown Macon calendar.
Trust me, it's hard for them to admit, but the talent was nervous.
"Being a model is tough work," said Andrew Reeser, 41NBC Anchor/Reporter.
"I can do TV cameras fine, no big deal, but you put that still frame shot camera in front of me , I can't, I freeze up," explained Kyle Warnke, 41NBC Daybreak Anchor/Reporter.
The guys might be on TV and used to dressing up and putting on makeup, but between you and I, they're far from models.
"Really I got up and did some yoga, had a cup of coffee, a bagel, to get some energy. I just had to get mentally prepared, it's a big day," said Dustin Wilson, 41NBC Reporter/Sports.
"I was not gonna let it rain on our picture taking and calendar taking parade," said Michael Estimé, Chief Meteorologist.
Intown Macon chose the four studly TV gentlemen for their fun, sparkling personalities.
"Well besides the fact that they're perfectly handsome and they're lovely gentlemen, they actually sent in their application like everyone else and everything that they said in their application is what Intown Macon sort of wants to provide for our residents, said Koryn Young, Intown Macon Virtual Imagery Photographer.
"That's all I want them to do is enjoy being who they are and letting the rest of macon know who they are," said Mary Smith.
Once the guys loosened up there was no turning back. The photographer let the comedians do their thing.
"When you open up the calendar to January 2012, I want you to go, that's funny," said Smith.
When the shoot came to an end, each of the guys thought they nailed it. They may or may not be top model material, but one thing's for sure, they never took their eyes off the camera.
The Intown Macon 2012 calendar costs $15. You can purchase your calendar at www.intownmacon.org
