A Middle Georgia College pours $17 million into an academic building. Friday Central Georgia Technical College broke ground on the new Health Sciences building at their Milledgeville campus. The new facility will include an expansion of Health Technology programs, the college's tutoring center, library and more.
"This is extremely important, this will double our square footage here in Milledgeville and give us an opportunity to educate here at this campus as additional thousand students," says Hank Griffeth, Vice President of Academic Affairs, CGTC.
Construction should begin by the end of August. Students are expected to be in the building by January 2013.
