MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Rain, sleet, black ice and freezing temperatures are headed to Middle Georgia, but according to EMA Director Don Druitt, they've got everything under control.
Today, the National Weather Service briefed more than 25 Macon leaders on weather conditions for the next few days.
"It looks like sometime tomorrow morning the Macon area. Central Georgia will probably receive sleet, snow, rain, black ice, a possibly 2-4 inches of snow, if we're in the right forecast area," Druitt says, "We're advising people to take heed and follow the directions of what comes out of our news service..."
Tomorrow, there will be another National Weather Service briefing in the morning.
