Lisa Love, Executive Director for the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, officially announced her resignation, and plans to move on to the next chapter of her life.
Love said she knew changes were going to be made at the Music Hall of Fame, and her stepping down was one of those changes.
State funding for the Music Hall of Fame will be cut off for the next fiscal year, so Love said she figures it's time to move on.
"I'll continue editing Georgia Music Magazine. Other than that, I'm just sitting back and taking a breather," Love explained.
Love has been the director since 2006. She will officially end her position in June.
