MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) --Macon Police have located a suspect that attempted to rob the Family Dollar of the corner of Houston Avenue and Eisenhower Parkway.
According to the cashier of the store, the suspect entered and looked around and down each aisle, apparently to check for customers.
The store manager said he found someone he knew, and she saw a gun in his pocket as he lifted his shirt.
The suspect then said, "Oh, not today. Too many folks up in here."
The cashier said she was shaken and unnerved, but continued serving customers after the attempted robbery.
Macon Police investigators were on the scene and checking store surveillance tape to try to identify the suspect.
The suspect was located Friday evening.
