MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has located a man missing since the weekend.
Deputies were searching for 32-year-old Samuel Joseph Marsh of north Bibb County. Marsh was last seen Friday at 11:30 a.m., walking towards Riverside Drive from Arkwright Road.
According to Bibb County Sheriff Lt. Sean Defoe Marsh has been suffering from a mental illness and has not taken his prescribed medication. Marsh had been in contact with the family since his disappearance. However his family was concerned because he left home without his medication.
Defoe said Marsh was located Tuesday and checked himself into a health facility, where he arrived unharmed.
