The Warner Robins Little League plan to honor two sisters who died as the result of a car crash.
17-year old Leslie Sullivent and her 11 year old sister Bridget Sullivan were involved in a two car accident Wednesday night in Bonaire.
Bridget Sullivent was pronounced dead on the scene, and Leslie died Thursday afternoon at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
Both girls had strong ties to the Warner Robins Little League Softball team.
According to Steve Stout, former Vice President of the league, Leslie played two years, but stayed involved by mentoring some of the younger girls. Bridget, who was known as the star player in her age group, was a returning member who would have begun her 5th season this year.
Stout says the girls were known as "field rats" because you could always find them at the ball park.
To honor the sisters, there will be a moment of silence Saturday at the season's opening ceremony. Also, all Warner Robins Little Leaguers, will be wearing pink patches shaped like softballs with the number 7, for Bridget.
