Baldwin County Man Murdered in Illinois

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Baldwin County man was shot and killed in Illinois last week, just one day before he was set to testify in court.

According to a release from the Urbana Police Department, 29-year-old Curtis Mosley was found dead at his apartment on Monday, February 4th. Sergeant Dan Morgan tells 41 NBC he was shot four times and then the suspect fled the scene.

Morgan says Mosley was scheduled to testify on Tuesday, February 5th in a trail where he was the victim of a robbery and shooting. The investigation is ongoing.

Family and friends gathered at the Rock Mill Baptist Church on Thursday to mourn his death.

The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office tells 41 NBC Mosley was associated with gang members.
