Execution Set for Man Who Killed 2 Mercer Students in 1995
JACKSON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - The man who shot and killed two Mercer University students in cold blood 18 years ago is set to die later this month.
Andrew Allen Cook is scheduled to die by lethal injection on February 21st at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification prison in Jackson.
Cook killed Michele Cartagena and her boyfriend, Grant Hendrickson while they were camping on Lake Juliette in January of 1995.
