MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A judge denied bond Tuesday for one of the suspects charged in the shooting death that happened outside of Wings Café.

Martin Kendall, 30, is charged with armed robbery and felony murder in the shooting death of Alfred Smith in July 2011.

41 NBC was the only news crew at the hearing, when Detective Cedric Penson described how Smith was "shot nine times" outside of the restaurant. Penson told Bibb County Judge Barbara Harris that investigators have an eye witness who identified Kendall as one of the shooters.

Akobeyan Howard is also charged in the case.
