MPD Takes Wanted Suspect Into Custody

Macon, GA (41NBC/WMGT)- The Macon Police Department took wanted suspect Denyke Glenn into custody.

Glenn, who is 17 years old was sought in connection with the Memorial Gym shooting on January 28, 203 at 763 Long Street. Witnesses on the scene say they heard two or theree shots fired and a 16 year old black male was struck in the left leg. Afterward the suspect fled sown Second Street toward downtown.

Glenn was questioned at the Detective Bureau and transported to the Bibb County LEC. Glenn was charged with Aggravated Assault and Criminal Street Gang Activity.
