Written by Tucker Sargent on . Posted in Local

MACON, Ga. (41NBC/WMGT) - Wednesday's potentially severe weather is already showing up around middle Georgia in the form of heavy winds.

Bibb County EMA director Don Druitt tells us Rivoli Drive is closed from Alexandria to Tucker due to downed power lines.  He says Georgia Power is on hand, and that portion of the road is one-way while crews work to remove the lines.

Druitt also says a portion of Upper River Road was closed due to downed trees, but it is now back open.
