Davis Family Hires Attorney to Investigate Fatal Kroger Shooting

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The family of the man shot and killed by a Macon Police officer plans to sue the Macon Police Department. 

Macon Police Officer Clayton Sutton fatally shot Sammie Davis Jr. in front of the Kroger on Pio Nono Avenue in December.

The Davis family hired the Forrest B. Johnson and Associates law firm to represent their case. Investigators with the firm are starting their own search to find out what events happened.
