Inmate Commits Suicide in Bleckley County Jail
COCHRAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Sheriff Harold Lancaster tells 41NBC the body of an inmate at the Bleckley County Jail was found Thursday in an apparent suicide.
Deputies say 21-year-old Kevin Colby Purser's body has been turned over to the Macon crime lab for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. He was being held in the jail on a misdemeanor charge. Detention officers discovered the body around 11 am Thursday.
The GBI is also investigating.
