Santa's Secret Shop Offers Kid Friendly Holiday Shopping

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – There's a 'secret' shop in Macon especially for children that gives them a chance to buy gifts this holiday season.

Santa's Secret Shop at the Museum of Arts and Sciences is the perfect one-stop shop for children. It offers many different high-quality, pre-wrapped items priced within a child's budget. All the gifts range from $1 to $10.

Museum officials say for many children, the shop is the first time they will experience the thrill of selecting their own gifts for their family, friends, teachers, and others.

"Most times the parents will allow the kids to come in and roam themselves, but sometimes moms want to come [and] make sure that they're getting the gifts that they're sent in to get," Sandra Ridgeway, floor manager for the museum, said. "The kids like to shop for themselves too."

Santa's Secret Shop is open during regular museum hours through December 23.
