Bibb County Elementary Students Prepare to Sing in Mandarin Chinese

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Students at Rice Elementary are gearing up for their annual Christmas performance. This time, the audience will get to enjoy their favorite holiday music in Mandarin Chinese. The students are expected to show off their newly acquired language skills during the event that will take place at Barnes and Noble in Macon.

The Christmas extravaganza will also include a Poetry Cafe. According to a news release, kids in grades 1 through 5 will recite poems they have written.

The event is scheduled to take place at the bookstore located at the Shoppes at River Crossing, Tuesday night at 6.
