Man in Critical Condition After Hit By A Car Crossing Emery Highway

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - A man is in critical condition tonight, after he was hit by a car while running across a highway in Macon.

Police say the accident happened around 12pm on Sunday. 35-year-old Dennis Williams was crossing Emery Highway to get to a gas station. That's when he ran out in front of a 74-year-old female driver of a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis.

Williams was transported to the medical center for treatment.
