PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – In Perry, people kicked off holiday shopping for a good cause.
This year's Mistletoe Market at the Georgia National Fairgrounds was one of the largest yet.
For $5, families could shopped at more than 200 vendors from all across the nation. The money raised at Mistletoe Market goes to local organizations. Last year, the group donated $,40,000 to charity.
"It really just makes everyone get in the spirit," said Lisa Hays, Mistletoe Market chair.
"We do this whole event just to help people. Last year, we gave away $40,000 to local charities in Middle Georgia and beyond."
