Martin Luther King III was at Fort Valley State University as the keynote speaker for the 24th Annual Black History Month Scholarship Luncheon.
King gave words of inspiration and wisdom to the audience, and quoted many of his father's words about being active in the community.
The luncheon is a way to raise money for scholarships for African American students who have exceptional grades.
The B.H.M.S.L. is the university's largest scholarship fundraiser.
