Roses, chocolates, jewelry; these are the delicacies of Valentine's Day. Anyone in love understands the importance of surprising your significant other on this cherished day. Monday night we found a couple who will never forget their Valentine’s evening.
"She's a great mom for the kids and she's a wonderful wife. She's with me when I'm sick, she's there, if I'm down she's there if I'm happy she's there," said Bobby Taylor.
"He's a nutt. Pulls pranks all the time and keeps life interesting," said Cindy Taylor.
Love brought these two together. Bobby and Cindy Taylor have spent the last 13 years in the bond of marriage. Their love story began when Bobby first set his eyes on Cindy.
"How hot she is and how sexy," said Bobby.
From there the two began dating, and their relationship blossomed into deep intimacy, then the couple married.
"That's about how it happened and then two children later here we are sitting in waffle house."
Nothing sizzles up the evening lake an order of smothered hash browns, but for Bobby the evening was all about keeping Cindy on her toes, she had no idea waffles would be the cuisine of choice.
"We're going out for a candle light dinner and I never told her until we drove into the driveway, it was a big surprise. I think it's great, I think it's really cool this will be something we remember forever," said Bobby.
"It was a complete surprise until we pulled into the driveway and I went, Waffle House," said Cindy.
Bobby says one reason he chose Waffle House for the evening is he and his wife are regulars there and enjoy the community relationships.
