WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - The Museum of Aviation now has a new model aircraft for you to check out. Monday Boeing donated a F-15E "Strike Eagle" fighter model to the museum. The plane is now part of the permanent outdoor display near the south entrance doorway. The model has a 6 ft. wing span.
"The F-15 Eagle Aircraft has been so inspirational to many of us who have been associated with this airplane for many years and to have it at the front entrance of the museum is just another way to share with others the history and the lineage," Julie Price, Boeing.
Today Boeing also presented the Museum of Aviation with a check for $7,000.
