MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Monday Macon City Council's Appropriations Committee passed a revised version of the city's five year capital improvement plan. The proposal has been tabled twice this year, but tonight the committee agreed on a tweaked version of the road map of city projects.
Macon City Councilman Tom Ellington says in the new plan proposed changes to Rosa Park's Park are moved to fiscal year 2017 instead of 2013 as they were originally set. The project is expected to cost $750,000.
The capital improvement plan will be voted on next Tuesday at the full council meeting.
