Thursday evening marked the first Board of Education Meeting for new Bibb County Superintendent, Doctor Romain Dallemand.
Dallemand presented his entry plan that includes these core values, high student achievement, access and equity, and accountability.
Dallemand says there will be some restructuring in the front office of the education system.
He also plans to create a welcome center for the school district, to give the community better access to information. Dallemand says becoming familiar with the district is step number one.
"I am talking with our staff members. I am talking with our administrators. I am reviewing information; so far I've reviewed over 500 pages of data around student achievement and student discipline. (I’ve reviewed) The structure of the departments and the goals," said Dallemand.
Dallemand plans to have an audit in place by March and wants his leadership team established by June.
