Peach County Commissioner Michael Dinkins Says He's Running For State House District 139

FORT VALLEY,Georgia- (41NBC/WMGT) Peach County Commissioner Michael Dinkins announced today that he's running for State House District 139. Dinkins made the announcement at Central Union Baptist church in Fort Valley. Dinkins is a Desert Storm Veteran and a graduate from Fort Valley State University.
"I want to run because I want to better the future of our young people. I want our seniors and our elderly's to have better living conditions, better opportunities. I want to make sure that everybody has the opportunity at what we call the brass rings of life. This campaign for me will be about the future, It will be about up lifting lives and empowering people to have more and to be able to do more with less even in this tough economic time", said Michael Dinkins.
Voting for The State House District 139 seat will be July 31st.
