Cox Capitol Theatre Hosts Free Super Bowl Party

Super Bowl fever gripped Middle Georgia tonight, and the Cox Capitol Theatre was no exception. The downtown Macon theatre hosted a free Super Bowl party catering to people of all ages.
Visitors enjoyed popcorn, snacks and beer specials, chicken tenders, and all the traditional Super Bowl fixings!
Organizers say the event helps bring in newcomers to the Cox, and helps them promote the theater for future tourism.
"We wanna see people come that may have never come here for an event before, we want them to see the theatre, we want them to know that this is everyone's theatre, we are an all ages venue...so it's nice, people can bring their children," says Director of the Cox Capitol Theatre, Kirsten West.
