MILWAUKEE (AP) - Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy has been drafted -- as a photographer. A Milwaukee couple had a chance encounter with McCarthy on a Florida beach. Tim Schlosser planned a surprise proposal for longtime girlfriend, Abigail Kobriger. He figured he'd ask a random stranger to snap some photos, but never dreamed it would be the Packers coach. Schlosser dropped to one knee and popped the question. Coach McCarthy took 30 snapshots, as the teary-eyed bride-to-be said yes. McCarthy says it's "cool" he was able to be a part of the special moment for a couple of Packers fans.
LONDON (AP) - The widely praised chief of Britain's National Theatre says he will leave his post in two years.
Nicholas Hytner plans to step down from one of the biggest jobs in the theater world in March 2015.
Britain's flagship state-funded theater company has had a run of successes since Hytner took charge in 2003, transferring hits including "War Horse" and "One Man, Two Guvnors" to Broadway and reaching millions with live broadcasts to cinemas around the world.
National Theatre productions reached 3.2 million people worldwide in 2012 and generated 80 million pounds ($122 million) in revenue.
Hytner also directs films, including "The Madness of King George" and "The History Boys."
The theater also announced Wednesday that Nick Starr, its executive director since 2002, will step down next year.
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Kim Kardashian's upcoming divorce trial will be a family affair, but her attorneys do not expect to call her famous sisters to testify about the reality star's brief marriage.
Court records show that Kardashian's attorneys intend to call the model's mother, Kris Jenner and several lawyers to discuss the pair's prenuptial agreement to the witness stand. The witness list filed Monday in Los Angeles lists Jenner, Kardashian and estranged husband Kris Humphries as planned witnesses.
Humphries is seeking an annulment of the pair's 72-day marriage, claiming it was based on fraud.
The filing states Kardashian will testify that she "did not defraud (Humphries) into marrying her."
Kardashian's boyfriend, Kanye West, and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe are not listed as probable witnesses.
Humphries' witness list has not yet been filed.
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Court records show Mick Fleetwood has filed for legal separation from his wife of more than 17 years in Los Angeles.
Fleetwood and Lynn Frankel Fleetwood have been married since July 1995 and have twin 11-year-old daughters together. He is seeking joint legal custody but wants his estranged wife to have physical custody of their children.
The Fleetwood Mac drummer filed for separation on March 22, but the documents were not publicly available until Tuesday. He does not list a date for the couple's separation but wants a judge to award him sole control of music royalties and other earnings from before their marriage.
The 65-year-old Grammy Award winner cites irreconcilable differences for the separation, but no other details are included in the filing.
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama says the brand of soul music that originated from a segregated Memphis, Tenn., in the 1960s sought to "create a little harmony with harmony."
He says the music is an important part of American history and it was being celebrated Tuesday night at the White House.
Obama spoke at a taping of the latest "In Performance at the White House" series, this one honoring Memphis soul.
Whites and blacks came together in Memphis in the 1960s to create a soulful blend of gospel and rhythmic blues despite the segregation that was in place.
Sam Moore, William Bell, Mavis Staples, Justin Timberlake, Ben Harper and Charlie Musselwhite are among those performing.
The program is set to be broadcast next Tuesday by PBS stations nationwide.
