The men of Warner Robins City Council will soon welcome a woman to their team.

Carolyn Robbins was elected to fill the city wide seat in Post 2. Robbins beat out opponent Tim Thomas with 64% of the votes to Thomas' 36%.

Robbins celebrated her win tonight, surrounded by friends and family.
She says leading up to the results, she was nervous about the low voter turnout, but thankful the election ended in her favor.

"I want to thank the voters for coming back out again in the run-off. I know it's Christmastime, and it was a hard thing to do and I want to thank you very, very much for coming back out," says Robbins.

Robbins also commended her opponent for running a clean campaign. Thomas stopped by Meldino's to congratulate Robbins on her win.
