November 8th is approaching and soon you'll be able to vote for or against the penny tax. Today, public safety officials and Macon-Bibb county business leaders came together to talk about how the SPLOST can benefit the community. In front of Macon city hall a group of business owners gathered to discuss the importance of the November 8th SPLOST vote.

"We decided 6 or 7 months ago to get together to see if we can make an impact in the Macon community, not only as it relates to the SPLOST but in terms of educations, crime, economic development, all those issues " said business owner Billy Pitts.

Voters will decide next Tuesday, November the 8th whether to pass the SPLOST.
