WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -- In front of former fire station number two and a crowd of about 30 supporters, retired firefighter and air force veteran Randy Toms announced he's running for mayor of Warner Robins.
Toms, a Warner Robins native and clergy man, says he's not seeking the seat for money or notoriety. He says Warner Robins is a great place to live, work, and raise a family, but it's not the best it can be.
"We can do better," said Toms.
He says this is a job he wants, and he knows he can do well.
"Warner Robins deserves a mayor who will work will with our business community to bring more good jobs with good benefits here," said Toms.
This is Toms first run for office.
