MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - A state representative officially kicked off her re-election campaign tonight at her headquarters on Eisenhower Parkway.
A 13-year veteran of the Georgia House of Representatives, Nikki Randall, is running for re-election to the state's 142nd house district seat.
Her campaign co-chairs include Sarah Gerwig-Moore, a law professor at Mercer, and Danny Glover, the former Bibb County Democratic Chairman.
Randall encourages voters to choose wisely when they hit the polls.
"Take a look at those that have been working in the community that know that it's more to service than just being elected," says Randall. "Look at what they do to help children and elderly and to keep our community clean and safe. What contributions have they made?"
Randall will run against Gerald Harvey of Macon, another Democrat, in next month's election.
