MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Real estate broker, Mallory Jones says he plans to run for Bibb County Commission.
Jones is seeking the District three seat currently held by Commissioner Elmo Richardson. If elected, he says he will focus on crime.
He wants to petition superior court judges to create a law that will banish career criminals from Bibb County and surrounding areas.
"Just the other day on Jami Gaudet's distribution list a person 46 years old had been convicted 46 times. Now, why is he still here?"
Jones moved to Bibb County in 1970. He's worked as real estate broker since 1989.
He believes government needs to be efficient, transparent, and accountable. He says there's room for improvement in Bibb County.
